Page 4 of a Dragon Tale About A Green Fairy

Why won't they accept a strong woman?"

After him she winged. "Wait." she cried into his ear.

With a wild scream, the dragoon hid with fear

deep inside a dark and rank cave, his home.

"Hello, hello. I know you're in there, there. Come

out, out please, please and talk, talk to me, me."

Her voice echoed in the cave's wide dark mouth.

"What, what do, do you want, want?" echoed out.

She puffed up her chest and commenced to shout.

"To tell you, you, I'm sorry, sorry I

frightened, frightened you, you. Please, please. I, I..."

Before she finished, the dragon crept toward the cave's mouth

saying, "Please, Please, don't, don't shout.

Your are giving me a pounding headache."

"Why did you try to make me into steak?"

"Bad dragon habit. Sorry. Forgive me?"

"Yes," she said and asked the same. "Forgive me?"

""Yes," the dragon agreed watching her wand.

"Oh, my wand frightens you. Please don't worry,"

she said and hid it away. "Fairies, you

see, can only protect, unlike you, who

thinks to make a blackened steak out of people.

That is a very bad habit. But please,
