INT. DAY. POLICE CAR.OFFICER RICHARDS
(speaking into her radio) The suspects are heading down to PCH. Mayor Burdock wants all traffic cleared. Repeat. He wants all traffic blocked. Over.

INT. DAY. BEACH COP PATROL CAR.

(The beach cop radio is a bit fuzzy. The woman beach cop is half listening to the announcement and half watching some beach studs play volleyball. She finds their rippling muscles intoxicating. )

BEACH COP
Copy. That. Out. All units. We’ve got a 1040 heading down the access road. Mayor Burdock wants a blockade. Over.

(On her radio we hear other police responding. She puts her car in gear and drives off with a lingering look at the studs.)BEACH COP
(to herself) I hope your here when I get back boys. Some of you look like you might like a ride in my car. Mm. Mm.
