SCENE 3 INT. DAY. THE CAR. DRIVING
.

(JIM drives. In the back seat EVE sits in a car seat. SNAKES seat is empty because he is still on HENSON’S arm and hanging out the window like a dog.)

JIM
We’re lucky they didn’t find the gun.

HENSON
That trick works every time.

JIM
Yeah. Well. I wish you wouldn’t carry it. One of these days we’re gonna get shot and then what?

HENSON
You think we could get away with half the things on the street that we do if we didn’t have it? You know as well as I do an unarmed street performer is just a victim waiting for a toe tag.

JIM
I hope Burdock buys the script. Then we wouldn’t have to deal with this crap anymore.

HENSON
Or at least pays us what he owes us.

(HENSON takes gun out of SNAKE)

SNAKE
Whew. About time you took that thing out of my butt.

JIM
Put that thing away will ya? This cars a cop magnet.

SNAKE
Drive faster. I want to catch  some bugs in my teeth.

JIM
You hungry? I could use a protein shake.

SNAKE
Why don’t you catch some bugs?

JIM
Because I’m not a snake.

SNAKE
Bugs is good though
